Feeling Nostalgic

Yesterday Caitlyn's Memere was talking about Mr. Dressup. She was curious so I searched you tube and there are hundreds of episodes. Cait loved it!

We have been reading Jillian Jiggs almost every night for the last few weeks. It was my favorite to read to her when she was a baby.
This winter has been exceptionally cold. However that doesn't stop our girl from strapping on her skates. She is adamant that she can skate by herself and doesn't want to use the training bar or want us to hold her. She has already asked her daddy for her other skates. I guess we will have to pull out her hockey skates sooner than I thought.
So tonight we heated up some lasagna. Once it was out of the oven, I cut a portion into bite sized pieces and let them cool on a plate. Caitlyn was quite interested in the process, so I gave her a piece from the fork I was using. She loved it! However she got quite impatient waiting for me to dish it out. So, I plunked her in her high chair and gave her a fork and the plate of lasagna. This video shows what happened next.
She almost ate her whole supper this way. I was even able to feed myself while she ate. This parenting thing is getting easier each day. Hopefully, I haven't jinxed anything by saying that.
Whenever Caitlyn wants to go outside she try's to put on her shoes or grabs her hat.
